About Us

Billingham Team Parish is what it says on the tin. It was formed at Easter 2013, when the five former parishes of St. Aidan, St. Cuthbert, St. Luke, St. Mary Magdalene and St. Peter were merged into one. The area covered roughly comprises the area with the River Tees to the South, the A19 to the West, the North Sea to the East and the A689 and Greathem Beck to the North.

We believe the formation of the Team Parish is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reshape mission and ministry in Billingham and the surrounding area. Together we seek to grow in the Christian faith and serve the whole community in loving and practical ways. The clergy team are committed to work with the laity to develop the ministry of the parish in exciting and new ways.
