Relaunching

We are pleased to announce that after a great deal of prayer, reading of guidance and discussions at the church council, that Billingham Team Parish will be relaunching it services in a different format for the time being beginning Sunday 2nd August. Obviously, everyone’s safety, and ensuring we fight COVID, is at the centre of all that we are doing and planning and that is why the following format will be followed.

Sunday morning services will commence at 10am Sunday 2nd August 2020 and this will be held at St. Aidan’s church on Tintern Avenue. The church is a COVID safe environment and all precautions are in place to ensure everyone is safe. There is a booking system in place for each Sunday and to book a place at this present time, though things will change, you need to contact Rev Richard Radley on 01642 657034 or richard@billinghamcofe.org.uk. You will need to book for each Sunday.

As of the beginning of September St. Peter’s and St. Cuthbert’s will be opened for occasional offices (Funerals, Weddings and Baptisms) only. All those Baptism families that were postponed will be contacted in due course and new dates will be offered. Please note however, we will only be doing baptisms in these two churches and there will be only one family present.

There will be restrictions in place in the three churches to comply with government and Church of England guidelines for all forms of services. To assist the government with their ‘Track and Trace’ registers will be taken of all those who attend.
